I just noticed the reverse lights on the ELR are not in the typical location. There appears to be only one, centrally mounted white reverse light at the bottom of the rear bumper.



Has anyone backed up in the ELR at night? Can you share your experience? Does the low light actually light up the road better, or does it not seem to shine very far because it is mounted so low?

It's the same "car anus" reverse light as the Volt, which has terrible visibility at night with the reverse camera. I've used the ELR's reverse camera in daylight and it was significantly better than the Volt's, so perhaps the nighttime video quality is also improved. I'm heading over to a dealership today for an unrelated issue, so I'll see if they'll let me back the ELR into a dark parking garage or something...
